As we dey enter festive season, everybody dey ready to chop well. Trading for the week na just three days – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but e no stop market from climbing.
By Wednesday wey be 24th December, NGX All-Share Index don rise by 0.97% to land for 153,539.83 points. E mean say people dey feel am right as market cap don jump from N97.890 trillion. Real the money wey dey fly around na as investors dey enter better stocks for the end of year.
As we dey talk, financial services na the main boss for trading. Dem handle 1.984 billion shares wey worth N32.680 billion! And you sabi say na 68.99% of total shares wey dem trade for this period? It get as e be, my people!
Some serious market players, like Abbey Mortgage Bank, VFD Group, and Custodian Investment, dey run things well, as dem dey lead the market with 1.471 billion shares worth N14.684 billion. Na about 51.15% of the whole market volume. No be joke! Trading dey sweet for those ones.
Make we check wetin dey happen for sector level. As e dey be now, plenty stocks don trend up, but few don drop. Na 44 stocks dey appreciate, while 30 don drop their value. E get some stocks like Aluminium Extrusion wey don climb by 32.39%, followed by Austin Laz wey also dey shine with 32.23% gain. Na big money dem dey carry, I tell you!
