Naija no dey sleep o! New Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa don enter waka with mouth full talk say make we dey sleep with our eyes closed regarding insecurity. E claim say na wetin President talk, but wetin be this one wey dem dey yarn again?

People wey sabi the security matter go just dey shake their head as Musa dey throw away confidence like say no be Nigeria dem dey manage. Security no be wahala wey fit solve just by changing oga. E go need serious plan and deep understanding of the whole system, not just big grammar.

People don dey fear say Musa don dey over-promise wey e no fit deliver. Na so dem dey change service chiefs before, and yet insecurity still dey worry us like bad belle. Dem fit just sack another person and wahala still go dey. Security no be one-man show, bros!

As Minister, Musa go need gree with the service chiefs and President go be like commander-in-chief wey dey manage soldiers. If dem no gree work together, na him go just dey use mouth talk. E don high time Musa face reality and no go dey promise what no dey reachable.

Nigerians don complain tire say anytime dem no see improvement, na to just call for service chiefs to be sacked. No be so e go work. E get as we go take arrange things make all dem fit gather listen to each other and work together. The security matter no be for Abuja alone, abeg!

Federal government no fit dey run everything from Abuja – na state and local government suppose dey in charge of local security. If dem fit partner with community people, dem go sabi wetin dey happen faster. But now, dem dey take centralisation blind dem.

Na when dem dey promise to flush out criminals, na just PR wey dem dey do, cause dem no fit just carry soldiers dey rush everywhere and expect results. Dem dey waka go back to forest at night once soldiers pack their load. No be wetin we go call serious security, na just wahala.

The local knowledge wey communities get and the way dem fit relate with local criminals na wetin federal operations dey miss. Dem dey depend on top-down approach wey no fit solve local issues. Musa need to lead reform wey go take build local capacity instead of just sending FG men everywhere.

With all the millions wey dem don spend, we still dey face the same problem. No be today this security wahala dey happen. Musa need to change his approach, trust me! He better use creativity and reform this side instead of following old ways wey no dey really deliver.

So, as e dey go, Musa fit just dey promising things wey no go fit happen, meanwhile the body of Nigeria dey burn with insecurity signs wey dey happen across Kogi, Borno, and Niger State.
