NDLEA Don Seize Over 1,396kg Drugs for Adamawa Youths

Chai! Na wah o! NDLEA don show seriousness as dem sef don seize 1,396.5kg of narcotics and carry 150 suspects waka come join dem for Adamawa. E happen for December, wey Mr. Aliyu Abubakar, wey be di Commander for Adamawa NDLEA, come open mouth for one news conference wey dem call: ‘Expose a Drug Dealer Today: Save the Future of Adamawa Youth’.

Wetin Abubakar dey talk be say, na serious work don dey happen for di state. Dem don use intel wey dem gather well well run operations wey cover everywhere, even for Airport! Na so dem dey catch drug dealers, dismantle drug joints, and intercept plenty bad goods wey fit spoil our youth future.

He come drop gist say dem don seize 353 kilograms of cannabis sativa, 983 kilograms of tramadol, and 60.5 kilograms of other opioids. Na real wah! No be small thing! Plus, dem capture two vehicles wey dem link to drug offense. Na dis kind operation go fit save plenty young lives!

Abubakar also point our attention to di statistics: six persons don already collect prison sentence, 53 cases dey pending for court, and dem fit rehabilitate 39 persons wey dem catch for drug abuse. This na serious matter wey affect many families.

As part of dem work, dem don carry out six War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) programs, clear cannabis farms for different villages, and dem get to seize valuables wey worth N163,170 for Federal Government pocket. Na serious blow dem don give drug trade, my people!

Di commander talk say December don be major month for dem operation, and na so dem dey hit di drug trade for Adamawa like nobody business. E emphasize say this fight no be only NDLEA matter, but everybody gatz join hand – traditional leaders, religious heads, youth groups, and even parents.
