Some people dey wonder how this board wey sabi maritime matter go survive after dem lose serious experience wey don dey there for years with Ed Warner and Chip Maran wey dey waka go.

Warner don dey for this board for 19 years, e don follow him papa wey do 27 years too. Imagine say this 340-year-old board no go get bayman wey sabi water matter again for seat! You fit feel the drama, abeg! Scott Horowitz wey don dey for 12 years too na current president wey go follow dem commot. As e dey go, wetin go happen to the board?

Parsons, wey dey expect to take over as president, don set im mind to handle the pressure wey go come. Na big learning curve be this o, especially with all five members going for reelection come next fall. E no dey easy to campaign and dey on the board at the same time, na different games!

But anything wey dem achieve no go easy run for pot anymore, dem don gossip about plenty projects wey dey on ground already. Even though some veterans dey waka go, dem still dey proud say dem fit hand over the board wey dey run more smoothly than ever.

Scott and Ed dey fasyur say the current board don organize things well, and no be wahala for the new people to start from scratch. But dem also dey vex say party politics don enter deir local matter, wey no suppose be so.
