According to the President, if any governor feel say dem fit japa from this new rule, na him go carry knife come cut the yam! E no go hesitate to use Executive Order to make sure say local councils go dey collect their money directly from Federation Account.

Tinubu talk say, “Supreme Court don cap am for una head, make una just dey give dem their money directly. If you dey wait make I chop style, just know say I get gun for pocket, I fit shoot anytime!” Na so e take yarn am o, no be joke.

This whole gist start after the Supreme Court give dem hammer for July 11, 2024. Dem talk say e no dey constitutional for state governments to dey hold money wey belong to local governments. E mean say, allocation from Federation Account suppose go directly to local councils, as the law don talk am for Section 162(5-8) of our 1999 Constitution after dem don amend am.

But, wahala dey! Most governors dey still dey do body, dey use joint accounts to chop local government allocations. Tinubu don talk say e no go take am lightly again, if dem continue to flout this order, federal government fit come intervene.
