Dem call meeting with scrap market people to fit tackle this wahala wey don dey increase for the area. E no go better if una dey trade scrap like say na play, as e dey affect our security and economy well well!

Akintayo yarn say di whole idea na to get better system wey go dey transparent and accountable. E talk say, ‘For Edo State, NSCDC don take charge to monitor and regulate all dis scrap dealers so dat dem no go put public safety and national security for risk,’ as dem dey try to protect our infrastructures.

Make we no forget say dis scrap trade dey connect to plenty bad things like vandalism of electricity properties, telecommunications dey waka, rail tracks, and even water pipes. Dis kind wahala dey mess everywhere up, disrupt services wey people need and e fit even put lives for danger. Na wetin be government investment if na so e go dey go?

The commandant also reason say dem go use two methods: awareness and enforcement. Di education part na key to make sure people dey follow laws wey dey guide this business. ‘We go teach dem beta ways to register their business and where dem suppose collect source materials from.’ Akintayo clear say dem go dey check people wey dey do illegal trade sharperly and no go allow dem enjoy dat kind business again!

NSCDC dey ready to increase dem monitoring and inspections dey along di zone, also adding say dem go work with other security agencies to catch those wey dey break di law. Na time for the good businesses to shine and make wrong practices waka pass!
