IPMAN Set to Own Refinery, No More Fuel Import Matter!

My people, big news don land for Naija oil sector as IPMAN don show serious improvement plan wey go change the game! Dem talk say dem wan own refineries, but dem still dey wait for regulatory approval. This move go help reduce all this wahala wey dey come from imported fuel.

For press conference wey dem hold for Abuja, IPMAN president Abubakar Shettima yarn say dem go dey buy gas directly from Dangote Petroleum Refinery. Na big win for local refining and una sabi say no be small matter for our economy!

Shettima, the man wey dey run things for IPMAN, talk say dem don align with Dangote to supply petrol wey go fit cover the whole country. E no easy, my people. He talk sey with the new regulatory heads, e go dey important make dem focus on promoting local refining and stop this importation matter. Na wetin we dey need to grow our economy!

Naija no suppose dey import fuel wey we fit refine for our own backyard. ‘Let new NMDPRA put Nigeria forward for every decision,’ Shettima talk. E get as e dey show strong loyalty to Naija! Dem dey look for policies wey go allow independent marketers like dem own refineries and create work for citizens.

Shettima also raise important matter, say if we fit reduce fuel imports, foreign investors go dey japa come invest for our downstream sector. ‘If we no dey bring fuel from outside, investors go sabi say Nigeria dey ripe for business!’ He don dey drop knowledge!

From January 2026, Dangote go start to supply PMS directly to IPMAN members and e go include free delivery to filling stations nationwide. Dis one go help reduce pump prices well well! Abeg my people, if una dey follow the news, no say IPMAN dey control over 80% of petrol retail market for Naija!

Shettima dey ensure say there go dey no scarcity for fuel supply. E don praise President Bola Tinubu say the man arrange the new leadership for the petroleum agencies to restore confidence back for the oil and gas sector. E be like say things dey finally look bright for we Niger people!

But e no end there, Shettima still dey call out NMDPRA make dem settle the bridging claims wey dey owe IPMAN members. Na over N190 billion dey for ground! No be small money o, so dem need to make am priority.

As e be, Naija don survive plenty wahala from imported petrol since our local refineries don lose touch. The Dangote Refinery wey dey operate at 650,000 barrels-per-day go change everything as we dey see plenty discussion around fuel pricing and regulation. E no go easy, but we go dey watch as our new leaders take handle this matter.
