Dis boy, wey dem call Victor Aligwo, just 15 years old, and him four friends plan this koko well well. According to police matter, dem first report am as missing person for Ago Palace Division on November 26, 2025. But na later dem discover say na dem self do the fake kidnapping to extort money from him mama.

SP Abimbola Adebisi, wey dey handle police public relation, yarn say dis boys, wey be ages 15 to 20, don use Umeh Victor’s room to do the tori. De suspects na Kosiko Patrick (17), Victor Aligwo (15), David Odudu (19), Anyabike Kingsley (20), and Umeh Victor (19). Dem catch am for Volkswagen Roundabout and Ago Palace area.

Dem don track dem after dem check the POS (Point-of-Sale) wey dem take collect ₦1.7 million wey Mama Aligwo pay as ransom. Imagine dis kind level! Na level wey we no suppose dey witness for our obodo Lagos. Di money wey di boy mama send to one of di boys account scatter as dem confirm say na scam.

Adebisi come talk say, ‘To make di fake kidnapping look real, di boys record video show Victor dey plead for help, dey cause panic, so dem go fit collect money from him family. E really work as Mama Aligwo just fall for di thing sharply.’

Di Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, don advice say all dem criminals wey dey plan this kind wahala make dem better relax, because him go make sure say Lagos no go ever lose security. Di police also confirm say di whole issue na serious matter wey no be real kidnapping, so residents no suppose panic, but rather dey sharp on any suspicious movements.
