Him don approve N150,000 Christmas bonus for each worker wey dey the state. Na so him talk for one church service for Government House Chapel, Abakaliki. E say this bonus na part of wetin him government dey do to take care of workers, even as revenue don dey drop small small over the past year.
But no be only that one e talk, sha. For the matter of local government election wey dey come, Governor Nwifuru clear am say him no don choose anybody as candidate. Him talk say everybody go fit fight their fight and the choice of the people go stand. “As far as I dey concerned, make the people choose who go represent dem, no be wetin I go just decide for dem,” he yarn.
He also use this opportunity remind all the political appointees wey wan contest for the local government seat say dem suppose resign, as e no go fit choose dem as Chairman, if dem wan enter the race. “If you dey run for Chairmanship position, you go fit print your resignation letter as per the law drop,” Nwifuru talk.
