My people, e don happen again! Naija Bar Association (NBA) don jampak the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for di matter wey concern tinted glass permit wahala. Dem don yarn say dis new enforcement wey dem wan start from January 2, 2026, no be am at all. Dem call am ‘grave affront to di majesty of di court’ and say na clear way to dey show say dem no sabi rule of law.

For press release wey dem drop on December 15, 2025, di NBA President, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, don react sharply as di police force public relations officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, don announce say enforcement go start again. Dis policy originally land for ground since April 2025, and na from dem time, wahala no sabi end, with plenty paddy-paddies dey complain say dem dey extort young people upandan.

For di matter no bi small thing, NBA don even take di police matter enter federal court since September 2, 2025. But instead, police come dey talk say dem wan restart enforcement wey go add to di wahala, and dem no mind di court road at all. Dis one na serious sign of disrespect!

NBA dey shout say if di police no take time, dem go start contempt proceedings against di Inspector General of Police and di Force Public Relations Officer. Dem don even call on President Bola Tinubu make e come intervene, because dis tinted glass wahala go just add more stress to citizens wey dey survive plenty financial burden already.
