Na Prince Dotun Oyelade, the state Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, na im drop this gist on Sunday for Ibadan. E talk say dis initiative na to help workers wey dey suffer under the current economic wahala, make dem fit enjoy December without stress.
According to the gist, the Oyo government don waka with the Agricultural Credit Corporation to package food items worth N100 million. Dem go sell things like rice, vegetable oil, chicken, and plenty more for civil and public servants wey show interest. E go better no be small!
But make we clear one thing, na only state workers go fit enjoy this package o! E get rules wey dey guide am. Each ministry go arrange the list of their workers wey want this food, so everything go dey organized and transparent. Na so we go fit avoid wahala for di matter.
Payment no go come easy o, as dem go dey collect di money from salary beginning from February 2026. No be small plan to ease di financial load on workers. As Prince Oyelade talk, ‘Dis arrangement go help dem wey dey struggle while we still dey show say we dey accountable.’
