Chris Evans and Alba Baptista have been dating for a while, but haven't commented much on their relationship in public until now. Evans apparently confirmed that the pair were definitely dating after sharing a video on social media that shows them playfully bantering for the past 12 months.
“A look back at 2022,” the 41-year-old actor wrote on his Instagram story on Friday, January 6, adding some red heart emoji to show how he felt about the year. The video compilation showed the loving couple showing off their love by scaring each other every chance they got.
This content is imported from twitter. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you can find more information on their website.
In some cases, it seems like they're really caught off guard, but in other clips it looks like they're starting to become aware of their partner's habits. In one clip, the 25-year-old actress screams: "I knew it!" as Evans jumps towards her.
Fans suspected that Evans and Baptista had been dating since 2021, when she began following the Avenger star on Instagram along with various members of her family. In October 2022, it was noted that a photo of some carved pumpkins that Evan posted on Instagram was also the profile picture of Baptista's mom. In November, they were seen holding hands in Central Park, and he commented on one of his Instagram posts about his upcoming film Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris.
Not many of Evans' relationships have been public. He was recently hooked up with comedian Jenny Slate after they worked together on the 2017 film Gifted. They broke up after a year together, but a source told US Weekly that he was determined to "be more private with his love life." [going forward].”
The source added: “Chris feels neutral towards Jenny Slate and doesn't have any ill feelings towards her. [He] He's happy for her."

Rep. Katie Porter of California, one of the country's most prominent progressive Democrats, is considering a 2024 Senate campaign, according to a Politico report.
Porter, a third-term lawmaker who was re-elected last November in her Orange County-pinned district, would boast strong name identification and ties to major progressive groups if she decided to enter the race.
But for now, veteran Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, a former San Francisco mayor who has served in the upper house since 1992, could very well seek re-election.
Feinstein, now in her fifth term, is expected to retire after the next 2024 cycle, but neither she nor her campaign have commented on her intentions.
Candidates who could run against Porter for a possible open seat include Rep. Barbara Lee, a liberal icon who represents a district in the San Francisco Bay Area, and Rep. Friday was what the Timberwolves front office, fans and staff had anticipated when Rudy Gobert came to town.
He was a defensive presence in the paint, he bounced a lot and there were lobs that resulted in dunks, many times.
Gobert had his best game statistically in a Wolves uniform in Friday's 128-115 win over the Clippers with 25 points and 21 rebounds. That was the ninth time in his career that Gobert had hit at least 20 in both categories in one game.
Gobert has received his fair share of criticism since the Wolves traded first-round picks from half a decade ago to bring him here over the summer. But never this season has he looked so dominant or in control of a game as he did against the Clippers, who were without Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Gobert's friend and compatriot Nicolas Batum.
"I don't think we've seen the best Rudy yet," he said. "I've been working a lot. My teammates are sticking with me. The coaching staff is sticking with me. And I know it's going to pay off. It's a long season. My goal is to keep raising my level every day and set the standard. tone for these guys."
He repeated that message several times, setting the tone. Gobert usually does that on the defensive end, but he also did it on the offensive end Friday with the help of his teammates. Of his 11 converted field goals, six were dunks that stemmed from lob passes, two each from Kyle Anderson, D'Angelo Russell and Jaden McDaniels.
"He's so high you can't really miss him, really," McDaniels said.
The chemistry between Gobert and his teammates has seemed like a failed high school lab experiment at various points this season. His grades were much better Friday night at Target Center.
"I think the guys did a really good job of holding their heads up and looking for him," coach Chris Finch said. "Whether it's the roll, or the drive and the lob. The ball movement is better right now, so everything has a little more space, and that space allows you to see a little bit of what's going on. When we slow down and static, we have guys watching Rudy, and that makes it more difficult."
Another maligned Wolves player, D'Angelo Russell, had one of his best games in recent memory with 25 points on 7-for-12 shooting. Russell was 10 of 10 from the free throw line.
The night wasn't perfect for Wolves, as Anthony Edwards and Naz Reid both left the game due to injuries they were both experiencing. Edwards left in the third quarter because of left hip pain that he first felt after a hard knockdown against Milwaukee on Dec. 30. He expressed optimism that he would be back at least in time for Wednesday's game against Detroit. That would mean he could miss Sunday's game in Houston.
Reid left due to back spasms that cost him the previous two games. There was no immediate word on his condition for Sunday.
Wolves led by 14 at halftime and got to 25 without Edwards and Reid thanks to Gobert's commanding presence. Anderson shot with 12 effective points, seven rebounds and six assists. McDaniels had another strong offensive game with 18 points. Norman Powell had 21 to lead the Clippers, who were playing back-to-back after Denver beat them on Thursday.
The Wolves committed 20 turnovers on offense but shot 57 percent. Gobert and Russell combined to shoot 18 of 27 (67%). The Wolves will gladly take that efficiency from both to move forward.
Gobert was asked after the game why fans haven't seen "the best Rudy" yet.
"I really don't like to blame outside things. It's up to me to handle myself and be on the court as the best Rudy I can be," Gobert said. "Everybody has things in their life. It's part of the NBA, it's part of life. But for me, as a competitor, I want to be the greatest defensive player of all time, I want to be a force, and I want to win championships. ".
At one point, the crowd goaded Gobert to dribble down the court and drive the ball to the basket for a layup. He missed, the crowd let out their disappointment at him, and Gobert smiled after the ball went out of bounds.
"I was having fun," Gobert said. "But I'm going to think about it all night. I should have dunked it."
A smiling Gobert is not someone Wolves fans are used to seeing. Everyone involved would like to see that more often.Credit: https://www.startribune.com/timberwolves-rudy-gobert-little-trouble-with-l-a-clippers-in-128-115-victory/600241486/

Netflix's first big movie of 2023, The Pale Blue Eye, casts Christian Bale as Detective Augustus "Gus" Landor, who is brought to West Point to investigate a series of murders. Landor teams up with Edgar Allen Poe (played by Harry Melling), a young cadet at the institution.
Did it really happen? Was Edgar Allen Poe an amateur detective? No, but Poe attended West Point, and is credited by some with creating the detective story. Here's what's true, and what's not, in The Pale Blue Eye.The film is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Louis Bayard.

Bayard writes in an afterword: "There have been their fair share of books featuring Poe as a character. I chose to catch him early in his development, when he's a cadet at West Point. He's only twenty. He's published a couple volumes of poetry, but he is largely unknown to the reading public, still struggling to find his voice, still trying to cement this very troubled relationship with his adoptive father, John Allan."
As the New York Times Book Review wrote at the time of publication, "The bleak, regimented world of West Point, with all its staring eyes and lost hearts, forms a perfectly plausible backstory for Poe's real-life bent." by tintinnabulation, morbidity and pale young women, first initial L."Edgar Allen Poe attended the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Poe enlisted in the US Army in 1827, claiming he was 22 but only 18. He enrolled at West Point in March 1830 but resigned the following January. Poe was officially dismissed in March 1831.
"Of course it's a work of fiction, even though Poe was at West Point," writer-director Scott Cooper told Tudum. "What I'm saying is that it's these events that take place in our film that shaped his world view and helped make him the writer he became, with the recurring themes dealing with the issues of death and effects of decomposition and reanimation of the dead and mourning - all of that is considered part of his dark romanticism".The Pale Blue Eye is a tribute to Poe.

Poe is widely credited with creating the detective story: his character, C. Auguste Dupin, who appears in the short story "The Murders in the Rue Morgue," is believed to be the first fictional detective. Thus, the fictional detective Landor follows in the footsteps of the genre created by Poe.

Liverpool begin their quest for a ninth association title on Saturday when they host Wolverhampton in a 2022-23 FA Cup third round match at Anfield. The Reds have been reeling in English Premier League play, with injuries derailing any title hopes after they finished runners-up last season. They are sixth in the EPL table, 18 points behind leaders Arsenal and seven points out of a top four spot. Liverpool suffered a shock 3-1 defeat to Brentford in the league on Monday. Wolves drew 1-1 with Aston Villa on Wednesday and are in 19th place but are looking to turn things around with a new manager before the break.
Kickoff in Liverpool, England is scheduled for 3 pm ET. Liverpool are -675 favorites (risk $675 to win $100) in the latest Liverpool vs. Wolverhampton from Caesars Sportsbook. Wolves are +600 underdogs, a tie is priced at +600 and the over/under total goals scored is set to 2.5. Before securing any Wolves vs. Liverpool, be sure to check out FA Cup predictions and best bets from SportsLine's football expert Martin Green.
After working in the sports betting industry for several years, Green became a professional sports and hadicap writer and has covered the game around the world. Since then, his European soccer teams have been spot on. Green has generated nearly $33,000 for $100 bettors since the 2017-18 season.
Green is 7-2 in his national football teams since the break and 6-3 in his 2022-23 FA Cup squads so far. He also went 23-23-1 on his World Cup picks and crushed his tournament predictions on Early Edge. He supported the USMNT to advance (+100), Kylian Mbappe to win the Golden Boot (+900) and the Netherlands, England and Argentina to win their groups (+210) among their correct teams.
Now, Green has looked at the Liverpool vs. Wolves duel from all angles and simply pinned down his FA Cup picks and predictions. He can head over to SportsLine now to see his picks. Here are the betting lines and trends for Wolves vs. Liverpool:Differential Liverpool vs. Wolves: Liverpool -2.5 (+140) Liverpool vs. Wolves Over/Under: 2.5 Goals Money Line Liverpool vs. Wolves: Liverpool -675, Wolves +1,500, Draw +600 LIV: The Reds have conceded 10 goals in their last eight games overall WLV: Wolves have scored nine in their last eight games in all competitions Liverpool vs. Wolves: see the selections here
With the Premier League title almost certainly out of reach and the Reds already knocked out of the EFL Cup, this is their only chance for glory. A ninth title would put them behind only Arsenal (14) and Man City (12) for most FA Cup wins. They have won seven straight meetings with Wolves and they are a far superior team. Wolverhampton could also lack motivation as they need to focus more on getting out of the relegation zone in the league. The last meeting between the teams ended with Liverpool holding a 29-7 shooting advantage in a 3-1 win.
Wolves have scored just 11 goals in 17 league games and have conceded 27. The Reds have scored 34 and conceded 22. Mohamed Salah (seven EPL goals) and Darwin Núñez (five) are expected to join the new winger. Cody Gakpo. The 23-year-old was a star at the World Cup, scoring in three straight games for the Netherlands. He had nine in 14 Dutch Eredivisie games with PSV Eindhoven. Irishman Caoimhin Kelleher is expected to get the nod at net and will be out there to prove his worth. He played a key role in the team's run to the title last year. Why you should back the wolves
Wolverhampton haven't been very successful against the Reds in general, but it's a different story in the FA Cup. They have knocked out Liverpool in five of their seven matches in the competition. In fact, their only two wins in the last 13 meetings came in FA Cup matches in 2017 and 2019. The Reds have gone out four times in their seven third-round games as Cup winners. They haven't beaten Wolves in competition since 1952.
Wolves have improved since Julen Lopetegui took over as manager before the World Cup break, going 2-1-1 overall since then. His only loss in that span was a tight 1-0 loss to a strong Manchester United side. They beat Gillingham 2-0 in the EFL Cup and defeated Everton 2-1 before that. Daniel Podence scored his fourth league goal against Aston Villa, and the team hope he will recover from a knock suffered later in the match. Atletico Madrid loanee Matheus Cunha could be ready for a full game after playing 25 minutes on Wednesday. He made just eight starts for Atlético last season, but scored six goals. How to make Liverpool vs Wolves picks
Green has broken down the Wolverhampton vs. Liverpool from every angle. He leans Over 2.5 Goals and has three other best sure bets, two that offer more money payouts, and his full match breakdown. He only shares his FA Cup selections and analysis on SportsLine.

The teen detective will return for another "torturous ride" at Nevermore Academy.
It's official: 'Wednesday' has been renewed for a second season by Netflix.
The spin-off of "The Addams Family," starring Jenna Ortega, was one of the streaming giant's most popular shows of all time, setting a platform record for the most hours watched in a week for a series. in English.
But with no official renewal announcement months after the show's November debut, fans, some citing Amazon's acquisition of "Wednesday" producer MGM last year, speculated that season 2 was in trouble.
Netflix put the rumors to rest on Friday with a renewal announcement and a trailer for the new season. Details are limited, and Netflix has yet to share a release date or cast list.

"Thank you to everyone who made this upcoming season possible," Ortega said on Twitter on Friday. "This whole thing has been pretty surreal."
Catherine Zeta-Jones, who played Wednesday's iconic mother Morticia in the first season, also reacted to the announcement: "There you have it!!! Great news!... PS Wednesday almost smiled. .. it's that good." she wrote on Instagram.
According to Netflix's description, the first season of the horror-comedy series continued on Wednesday as he "investigates a wave of murders while making new friends and enemies at Nevermore Academy." Betting Showdown Preview
game detailsWho: Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars When: Saturday, January 7 (week 18) Hour: 8:15 p.m. Eastern Time Where: TIAA Bank Field (Jacksonville, FL)
Summary of betting oddsSpread: Titans +6.5 (-110), Jaguars -7.5 (-110) money line: Titans (+225), Jaguars (-265) Total: Over/Under 40 (-110/-110)
Note: DraftKings Sportsbook odds and lines are current as of this writing and are subject to change.
The playoffs came early in the AFC South, as the Titans and Jaguars meet on Saturday night to decide the division champions. The winner will earn the division crown and a postseason berth, while the loser will begin their offseason. Jacksonville currently has a slight lead in the division with the head-to-head win earlier in the year.
In early December, the Jaguars posted a 36-22 victory when the Titans were still the division favorites. Jacksonville is the better team heading into Saturday, but they are in a position to win the AFC South due to an implosion by Tennessee. When the Jaguars beat the Titans on December 11, Tennessee still held a two-game lead in the division.
The Titans have lost six straight games since Nov. 27, showing no sign of momentum before Saturday. On the other hand, the Jaguars are one of the best teams in the NFL, winning six of the last eight. This hot streak has put Trevor Lawrence and company in the position to play postseason football for the first time since the 2017 season.Margin, Money Line, Total: Titans vs. jaguars
The Jaguars are superior to the Titans and will host their opponent on Saturday. These factors have clearly factored into the difference, as Jacksonville is racking up 6.5 points at home. The passing game has been the biggest problem for the Titans, as Ryan Tannehill suffered a season-ending ankle injury in mid-January.
The offense was not prolific under Tannehill, but turned anemic when Malik Willis took over quarterback duties. Willis' lack of productivity forced Mike Vrabel to go with Joshua Dobbs, who made his first start last week. Dobbs completed 20 of 39 passes for 232 yards with one touchdown and one interception. However, it will be very difficult for him to keep up with Lawrence.
The more reasonable end of the line is the Jaguars at -6.5. The Jags are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games. The Titans haven't been as lucky during that stretch, going 0-5-1 ATS. The margin is better than the money line due to the large amount of Jacksonville juice.
For a bettor to win $100 in Jacksonville, they must risk $265. This is a big bet for a small reward, so stake the points if you believe in the home team. If you think Tennessee can pull off a win, a $100 bet on the visitors would generate $225 in profit.
The total is set at 40 points, which is a low number in the NFL. We expect Jacksonville to score, but it should be tough for Tennessee. The Titans have sunk in 10 of their last 13 games. The Jaguars have been trending, but it takes two teams to cash in on the high end of a total.
Jacksonville has been playing tremendous red zone defense, so we don't expect Tennessee to have much scoring success. However, the only bet that is more viable in this game is to play with the Jaguars advantage, as they have earned our trust in the last half of the season.Player Bets: Titans vs. jaguars
Although we don't like the Titans winning on Saturday, there are still some lucrative accessories for Tennessee players. One that has caught our eye at DraftKings Sportsbook is Joshua Dobbs to throw for over 187.5 passing yards.
The Jaguars have consistently allowed big plays this season. Their red zone defense has been the reason they have won games, but the team struggles in the twenties.
Also, Tennessee must shoot to keep up with Lawrence, who is expected to throw the ball all over the field. Dobbs surpassed his total in his first NFL start, and we think he keeps the streak going Saturday. Our same parlay game
Our parlay of the same game for Titans vs. Jaguars consists of the following stages:Jacksonville Jaguars Alternate Spread -2.5 (-225) Alternate Total Points Over 34.5 (-235) Trevor Lawrence Over 254.5 Passing Yards (-125) Joshua Dobbs Over 174.5 Passing Yards (-165)
The combined odds of our same game parlay is +300. The parlay begins with the Jaguars covering an alternate margin of -2.5. In a same-game parlay, it's best to hedge a bit, so we lowered the original spread by four notches. If the Jaguars win by three, a critical number in football betting, this stage will be cashed out.
While the Titans have trended down, the Jaguars have gone the other way. Jacksonville's offense is firing on all cylinders, which means points will be scored. We don't think this game will go to 40, but there's a good chance we'll see five touchdowns on Saturday. Both teams allow 20+ points per game, so the alternate total is a viable option.
To get the game past 34.5 points will require some great performances from Lawrence and Dobbs. We're playing Dobbs over 187.5 passing yards as a straight, so we're mocking his parlay total. If Dobbs shoots 175, we'll get to the third leg of our parlay. If Dobbs doesn't reach this total, Tennessee won't be competitive on Sunday. We expect Lawrence to set the pace and surpass 254.5 passing yards.
Lawrence has only surpassed his total in two of his last four games. Although, the Titans have the worst passing defense in the NFL, allowing just under 280 yards per game.Credit: https://www.forbes.com/betting/nfl/week-18-titans-jaguars/
