Leeds United coach Daniel Farke don reveal say Joe Rodon dey back for full team training and fit return to matchday squad when Tottenham Hotspur visit Elland Road for Premier League clash. Daniel Farke yarn this one for im pre-match press conference, and e call am good news after the player spend long time outside the pitch.
But the injury update no pure good news. Daniel Farke talk say Noah Okafor miss Leeds United last game due to adductor problems, and Noah Okafor never join team training this week, only individual work. Because of that, the coach no fit confirm whether the player go available for the Tottenham Hotspur match. Anton Stach get foot problems, and e only do individual rehab, so Daniel Farke say major doubt dey over whether Anton Stach go play.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin also get small setback with foot. Daniel Farke say Dominic Calvert-Lewin no train with the team today, but e dey carefully optimistic say the player fit return to training tomorrow and then become available for the game.
For the match itself, Leeds United dey find momentum hard to come by. Daniel Farke side never win any of dia last four league matches and dem don slip to 12th for table. Home defeat to Bournemouth last time out go don pain the Elland Road faithful, and Leeds United need response.
Tottenham Hotspur arrive in better shape. Roberto De Zerbi side win three of dia last five Premier League outings, and dem beat Chelsea 2-0 and Crystal Palace 2-0 in dia two most recent league fixtures. Tottenham Hotspur still get injury concerns with several first-team players sidelined, but return of Lucas Bergvall from knee problem fit give Roberto De Zerbi extra midfield option. Leeds United also go miss couple key men, so squad depth go matter for both dugouts.
Off the pitch, reports link Lucas Bergvall to Barcelona, Napoli and Juventus ahead of January. Tottenham Hotspur firm say any departure go require replacement first, so Lucas Bergvall looks set to remain for now. Leeds United dey plan dia own January business, and dem dey track midfielder Issouf Sissokho as Daniel Farke seek reinforcement for engine room.
