Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola don open up on why she kneel down beg her senior colleague Afeez Owo for forgiveness for one public event. The apology happen for the premiere of one Odunlade Adekola movie, and PM News report say the actress explain am for one post wey she share after the event.
Trouble start in September when Afeez Owo comment on the way Toriola dey act, and suggest say the fierceness wey she dey carry for screen na the same thing she dey carry for real life. The remark no go down well with am. She fire back, call the comment “rubbish” and question why person go dey discuss that kind matter for public, especially for podcasts.
But for the movie premiere, the matter turn another way. Toriola waka go meet Afeez Owo, kneel down for im front and tell am say, “I’m sorry, sir. Please forgive me.” The scene take many people by surprise, and na im she come out afterwards to explain wetin push am.
For the post, Toriola talk say she choose to apologise to the legend because she be true ambassador of culture, and even when person dey angry, elders no suppose be off limits. She add say elders deserve calm waters, not raised voices. She tell fans and friends say no more grudges, say she don choose peace, and she thank Afeez Owo and the people wey dey support am.

Veteran Nollywood actor Yemi Solade also issue public apology to Afeez Abiodun, wey many people know as Afeez Owo, over one physical fight wey happen more than 20 years ago for film set.
