Brown and im co-defendant Omololu Akinlolu bin plead guilty to affray for July. Akinlolu, 40, collect four months sentence wey dem also suspend. Judge Tony Baumgartner call im role “significant”, but e note say, different from Brown, e no start the fight and e no use bottle.
The court watch CCTV footage of the incident. Judge Baumgartner explain how Brown take the bottle strike Diaw for head, and e describe “the repeated use” of the bottle as “plainly dangerous”.
“The repeated use of a glass bottle in that way, especially aimed at the head, was plainly dangerous, it carried the risk of delivering a more serious injury than was ultimately sustained,” the judge tok for Southwark Crown Court.
