Bayern de Múnich, for now, no dey prepare any move to sign Dani Olmo or Jules Koundé for the January market, according to Christian Falk, BILD football reporter wey dey cover the German club. Falk deny reports wey talk say the Bundesliga champions wan launch offensive for the two Barcelona players. E tok say no negotiation dey and no plan to address either operation in January.
The interest no be new one. Early October, Mundo Deportivo report say Bayern dey monitor Olmo. Sky Sports earlier tok say the 28-year-old midfielder dey on Bayern radar and the club fit pay up to 90 million euros. Mundo Deportivo also tok say sources close to the player confirm say the interest dey and e don dey long. Falk still tok say Olmo fit remain attractive option for Bayern long term, and the monitoring dey continue.
Olmo get contract with Barcelona until 2030. Before e return to Barcelona in summer 2024, Bayern show serious interest in am when e dey RB Leipzig. But the midfielder always choose Barcelona and e still dey focused only on the club, with target to win as many titles as possible. Falk deny say Bayern dey prepare January operation for am now.
The PSG match give Olmo chance to win more than minutes. E score against Betis and e dey face the trip to Paris with chance to continue im upward run. Competition with Fermín López dey force am to answer every week, and a big night before Hansi Flick fit strengthen im position. Against PSG, Olmo need find space. If e receive between lines, e suppose help team beat pressure; if e appear near the box, e need turn those touches into danger. Paris go give am less time to think, and any loss fit force the team to run back.
Flick don use Olmo and Fermín together in advanced positions against Galatasaray and the formula work. Olmo take part in the equalizer and Fermín score after. That combination open another option for the coach and show say the two players fit complement each other inside the same eleven.
Market talk add noise while Olmo dey fight for im place. Deco meet Juanma López, the player agent, to analyse im situation, according to Sport report wey other media carry. Same publications talk say Olmo want stay and compete for im position. The meeting fit help discuss im role for squad, but e no prove say Barcelona don decide to put am for sale. Latest information also cool Bayern January offensive because Olmo dey important for the team, and the report talk say the PSG test suppose be seen as sporting opportunity, not sentence on im future.
