Hearts go return to Celtic Park on Sunday, di ground where dia last trip end with players bundled out of one chaotic Celtic Park and back into di team bus in dia strips and boots, after dem watch title dream die inside 11 crushing minutes.
Dat time, di 800 Jambos wey show face and thousands more back in Gorgie pass through dia own football trauma. Di mere thought of returning to di home of di Scottish Premiership champions bin dey harrowing.
But Wouter Vrancken don refresh and reshape im side, and dem dey embrace di trip to face Celtic wey still dey fail to convince dia support. Di Celtic fans dey more disgruntled after another chastening European defeat at Benfica.
Earlier dis week, influential Hearts investor Tony Bloom repeat im faith in di title ambition for Tynecastle club. Sunday fixture for 15:00 BST go give sign whether dat ambition fit come true dis season.
Even with dat back story, Wouter Vrancken don tell im players make dem no “live in the past”. Oisin McEntee, wey be part of last season squad, insist say di trip to Glasgow no be revenge mission.
Oisin McEntee score Hearts opener against Nordsjaelland as dem raise curtain on dia Conference League campaign, but dem collect late punch in di gut for di 1-1 draw.
Di Gorgie side get only two wins from dia past 11 away league outings, and dem no keep one clean sheet inside dat period. Last weekend 5-0 win over St Mirren however form part of five victories and one draw in seven matches under Wouter Vrancken, after one challenging introduction to im tenure.
Now di Belgian coach get opportunity to make real statement early in im reign for Hearts.
