Tansian University Acting VC, Prof Umeoduag, Die At 44

Acting Vice-Chancellor of Tansian University wey dey Anambra State, Prof. Nnamdi Dike Umeoduag, don pass away at di age of 44.

Umeoduag, wey be professor of Microbiology, reportedly die for early hours of Friday.

Before di appointment, e don serve as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) for Tansian University.

He also be member of Anambra State House of Assembly, where he represent Aguata 1 Constituency.

He consequently serve in acting capacity as Vice Chancellor for approximately two months, from di period when di substantive Vice-Chancellor proceed on medical leave until di expiration of di substantive Vice-Chancellor tenure on 30th September, 2026 and until him sudden demise.
