Dangote Foundation Launch Student Share Grant, Go Fund Extra 10 DPRP Shares

Aliko Dangote Foundation don announce say dem launch Student Share Grant Initiative. Na financial inclusion and investor education programme wey dem design to encourage saving culture, responsible investing and long-term asset ownership among young Nigerians.

The initiative open to students wey reach 18 years and above and dey enrolled for public and private tertiary institutions across Nigeria. Dem go still do verification and check whether person qualify.

Under the plan, if eligible student complete the required student verification process and apply in dia own name and for dia own benefit for minimum 10 shares inside Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE (DPRP) Initial Public Offering (IPO) through the designated participation channel, ADF go fund application for additional 10 DPRP shares in that student name. The student no go pay extra money for the additional application.

But ADF funding the additional application no mean say the student must get the additional shares. Both the student application and the ADF-funded application still dey subject to applicable IPO terms, allotment procedures and outcome of the IPO. Any shares wey dem allot under the ADF-funded application go follow applicable IPO procedures.

The foundation talk say the initiative na part of ADF broader commitment to empower young Nigerians. E dey promote financial literacy, encourage informed participation for formal financial system, and help young people understand saving, responsible investment and asset ownership early.

Chairman of Aliko Dangote Foundation, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, talk say supporting young people suppose pass access to education. E mean giving dem knowledge and opportunity to understand how economic value dey created and how dem fit participate inside am. He talk say dem want Nigerian students to understand importance of saving, investing responsibly and long-term ownership. Through the initiative, dem hope to introduce more young people to investment principles and encourage dem to start investment culture early in life.

Dangote add say when young people understand investment and ownership early, dem go better equipped to make informed financial decisions and participate with confidence for formal economy. He talk say the whole thing na about developing a mindset.

She talk say financial literacy dey stronger when people get chance to put knowledge into practice. The initiative go give eligible students chance to experience formal investment process for dia own, from verification and application to understanding allotment and ownership. E go also encourage responsible and informed participation for capital market.

Youssoufou talk say dia objective pass participation for one transaction. Dem want encourage students to develop lifelong interest for financial literacy, responsible investing and asset ownership.

Eligible students wey reach 18 years and above and dey enrolled for public or private tertiary institutions for Nigeria fit visit ipo.alikodangotefoundation.org to complete required student verification process. After successful verification, eligible students go redirect to designated subscription channel. From there, dem fit apply in dia own name and for dia own benefit for minimum 10 DPRP shares, which na the minimum application size under the IPO. Eligible students wey complete the required process go qualify for ADF to fund application for additional 10 DPRP shares in dia name. ADF go provide the funded application at no cost to the eligible student.

The initiative only apply to eligible students wey dey participate for DPRP IPO through the designated participation channel. Nobody fit use am apply for shares in another person name, shares in any other Dangote company, or securities of any other company.

The Student Share Grant Initiative na ADF programme and e separate from the offer and administration of the DPRP IPO. The IPO still dey subject to its applicable offer documentation, regulatory requirements, terms and transaction procedures. Participation for the initiative na voluntary. Dem intend am to support financial literacy and broaden access to investment participation. Dem no mean am as investment advice or recommendation by ADF to acquire DPRP shares.
