Mr Warner work with di Gombeys for more than 50 years. Apart from performing, he mentor others. He help pass di tradition go younger generations.
For 1995, he become di first Gombey captain to receive di Queen’s Certificate of Honour. Di Department of Community and Cultural Affairs also recognise im contribution for di 2015 Gombey Festival.
After he pass for October 2016, di then Minister of Social Development and Sports pay tribute to Mr Warner. Di minister call am a standard bearer of preserving traditional Gombey Culture. He add say im spirit, impact and legacy go live on in our hearts and minds.
