‘Everybody dey itch to play which is important,’ Richardson tell BBC Radio Berkshire. ‘We certainly go attack the game to try and win it so I think we go dust ourselves down after the Cambridge loss and we go come back better for it.’
He add say: ‘We know wetin challenge dey come and we go have to be at our best to compete but hopefully we can keep giving the level of performance wey the lads don dey give and we can grow from there.’
Reading come into Tuesday game after narrow loss away at Cambridge and dem don only win twice for League One this season. Dem dey 14th for third tier, while Keith Andrews Brentford never lose this season and dem thump Birmingham 6-1 for St Andrew’s for round two of cup.
Brentford don spend past five seasons for Premier League after most of their history dey outside top flight. Richardson hope say Reading go take inspiration from Bees rise through leagues and push for promotion of their own.
