Fuel price don jump again, traders dey fear say e go reach N1,300 per litre

Traders wey dey sell fuel for Nigeria don show strong worry as price of petrol continue to climb. According to dem, di price fit reach between N1,250 and N1,300 per litre for some parts of di kontri.

Ukadike say changes for international oil market, government policies, and di value of Naira dey make fuel market full of uncertainty.

Dangote Refinery don increase fuel price from dia depot by N15 per litre on Wednesday. Di price don go up from N1,185 to N1,200. Dis new price start from August 26, 2026.

E be like say dis increase come just five days after di refinery raise price from N1,165 to N1,185 per litre for dia customers for di kontri.

As Ukadike dey yarn about dis latest increase, e say e come at di time when crude oil price for world market dey fall.

E say marketers dey struggle with some tins wey dey cause uncertainty for fuel market.

But Ukadike talk say before, Dangote Refinery dey reduce price when world market condition change, but dis time around, e no happen like dat.
