Twente Come From Behind, Beat Zwolle 3-1 For First Points

FC Twente don finally collect their first points for the new VriendenLoterij Eredivisie season. John van den Brom side beat PEC Zwolle 3-1 at home on Sunday, after the visitors don also lose their opening match against Ajax last week by 2-0.

Both sides manage one effort for the opening stages. Elias Sørensen fire over for PEC, while Daouda Weidmann do the same for Twente.

Twente keep coming. Daan Rots make am 3-1 with a long-range strike and settle the contest. PEC don’t get anything to offer after that.

Late on, Sondre Ørjasæter, Wout Weghorst, Thomas van den Belt and Filip Thorvaldsen, among others, all go search for more goals. A fourth Twente goal no arrive, but that no dampen the mood at De Grolsch Veste.
