According to statement wey di Head of Corporate Communications for PTAD, Mista Olugbenga Ajayi, sign for Friday, di beneficiaries come from Parastatals Pension Department (PaPD), Defunct and Transferred Agencies Pension Department (DTAPD), and Tertiary Education and Health Pension Department (TEHPD).
Ajayi explain say dis payment na for accrued arrears wey come from di BEC review exercise wey di directorate do. Di exercise na to address and resolve complaints about pension computations and outstanding entitlements of DBS pensioners.
E say di disbursement show sey PTAD still dey committed to don solve verified outstanding obligations and improve di welfare of DBS pensioners under their mandate.
Di Executive Secretary of PTAD, Madam Tolulope Odunaiya, thank di affected pensioners for their cooperation during di review process. She say di organisation still dey committed to timely, transparent, and accountable payment of verified pension entitlements.
Odunaiya also note say dis payment show sey federal government serious about addressing pension-related issues and strengthening pension administration under DBS.
She talk say PTAD go continue to engage DBS pensioners, resolve pension complaints quick, and deliver efficient, transparent, and accountable pension administration.
