Windstorm wey heavy rain follow don tear down over 200 houses and shops for Dangamau community for Kusada Local Government Area for Katsina State. Di disaster don scatter many family wey no get place to stay or way to find food.
Governor Dikko Umaru Radda don send word say he sorry for di victims. He talk say dis kain tori painful and unfortunate, as whole property wey people work hard to build don finish like that.
For Sunday statement, di Governor Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Kaula talk say di state government share di pain of di affected residents and no go abandon dem for dis their time of need. Di governor say, “For behalf of Government and good people of Katsina State, I commiserate with victims of dis disaster for Dangamau. We feel your pain and we no go leave you alone at dis time.”
Radda don give order to di relevant government agencies make dem go check di damage quick and see wetin dem go do to help. He say dem don already make plan to send relief materials like food, temporary shelter, and other important things for di people wey don lose house.
“Efforts dey top gear to bring succour to di displaced persons. Food, shelter and other basic needs go come without delay,” di governor add. He also beg di residents to calm down and cooperate with emergency response teams wey dey di community as di government dey work to make things normal again.
Di windstorm wey hit Dangamau no be small thing. E show say natural disaster fit cause plenty wahala for people wey dey rely on farming and small business for survival. Many families don scatter, and di community dey hope say government help go reach dem fast.
